I'm having one of those nobody-likes-me-everybody-hates-me-guess-I'll-eat-some-worms type of weeks. Maybe I'm just being hyper-sensitive
(who, me?), but I'm definitely in a funk. To prove just how much of a funk I'm in: I drove home the past two days WITHOUT TALKING ON THE PHONE. This is MAJOR, people. Major. Why didn't I talk on the phone, you ask? There's no one I wanted to talk to. Sad, huh?
To combat this funk, I thought we'd look at some positive things going on in my life right now. That's gotta work, right?
1) I honestly, truly love my job. I do. Just this morning I was thinking, "I can't believe I get paid to be around this stuff." It's so awesome here. I'm being challenged, I'm learning, I'm appreciated. I love it.
2) Oh, have I told you how much I love my dog? How did I become a dog person? How did this adorable little ball of fur wrap me around his finger in 2.4 seconds? All I know is I can't imagine my life without my sweet
(sometimes annoying, but overall very sweet) little Sammy Rhodes.
3) I love where we live. I'm so lucky to live back in California and right on the coast. Every day I come home from my walk with Sammy and think how lucky I am that my dad let me move in with him. We literally live a block away from the beach and I get to walk on it every night. How stoked am I?
