An Open Letter to Old Navy
Dear Old Navy,
To begin with, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for finally getting rid of those ridiculous and annoying Mannequins. They were the worst and I hated them.
That being said, while I appreciate you turning to music for your commercials, I don't quite understand the need to take catchy '80s tunes and turn them into cheesy, horrible shells of their former selves. Did Debbie Gibson really sign off on you changing "Only in my Dreams" to "Only in my Jeans?" Did Duran Duran really allow you to sing "Girls on Film?" Inquiring minds want to know.
Last night's crucifixion of another beloved song was the last straw. Please make it stop. It's bad enough you run these atrocities every two seconds; at least make them something worth watching.
Thank you very much. Now, knock it off.
Sincerely,
Pinky Lovejoy
Pinky's Fandance - Adam Pally
Adam Pally might just be the best thing about Happy Endings. Don't get me wrong - I love the rest of the cast, as well - but Adam Pally's portrayal of Max (the butch gay guy who seems the opposite of every gay character you've ever seen) is hysterical. He steals every scene he's in.
Knowing this, I shouldn't have been surprised that he also stole the stage at the cast Q&A the other night. He's funny, self-deprecating, and a joy to watch. Even better? Look at those eyes....*swoon*
Read This: Stories I Only Tell My Friends
You know when you're reading a book that's so good you don't want to put it down? Not only did I not want to put down Rob Lowe's "Stories I Only Tell My Friends," but I *may* have teared up a bit when I read the final page. It may sound silly, but I'm going to miss reading it - I was so excited to see what came next on the page. Rob Lowe is highly intelligent, self-aware, interesting, and a great writer. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good read - not to mention the hunky picture on the cover! :)
Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition
Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
You know, sweetie, at some point it's OK to hang up the trashy outfits and just perform while wearing actual clothes.

Casey Wilson Might Secretly Want To Be My BFF
What I'm about to say might make you incredibly jealous, but it must be said: I think Casey Wilson might secretly want to be my BFF.
Now, when I say secretly, I mean so secretly she might not even know it herself, but look at us - we're adorbs. We already look like besties. Perhaps the Universe has had this plan all along?
You might recall we initially met at a theater several months ago when I recognized her from being on SNL and she thought her dad had put me up to asking for a picture (he didn't, btw. As of yet, I haven't met her dad). I saw her again shortly thereafter and we took this cute pic (which has Max Winkler photobombing us in the background - hilarious). When I saw her again last night, she was coming out of the restroom and I said, "Hi, Casey" (because that's what you do when you're BFFs - see, we're even going to the restroom together now - nevermind that she went a few minutes before me. It still counts). It occured to me that she'd be a great interview subject for my reel I'm hoping to make (long story), so after the Q&A I gave her my card and asked if maybe we could do an interview for the blog.HERE'S THE BEST PART.....are you ready for this?!!? When I told her I had a blog she said, "Oh, I know. I've been there." Um, what now? Come again? Casey Wilson not only remembers me, but she's BEEN TO MY BLOG!?!!? I'm not going to lie: I *almost* had a heart attack. I *may* have passed out for two whole seconds, but I remained standing up so she didn't seem to notice. Holy freaking crap, people...I think this officially means I'm Famous. Yep, it's certain: That's it, I'm Famous, Casey Wilson is my new BFF, and Nick Rhodes is coming to take me on a date. Oh, wait. Is that last part not true? They're going to need to make room for me at this table, because Casey is going to want me to sit by her. I'm just sure of it.
Pinky's Fandance - Fred Savage
Last night I had the pleasure of attending a Q&A panel with the cast of one of my favorite shows on TV right now, Happy Endings. I could not have been more excited to meet the cast and the biggest surprise was that Fred Savage (Kevin Arnold himself!) would be moderating the Q&A. Fred was so amazingly cool to all the fans outside. Even though he was running super late, he took the time to sign autographs and pose with fans. I was so impressed with him both on and off the stage. He's just as big of an admirer of Happy Endings as I am, plus he directed an episode. WIN!

Do you think David Cross made her that t-shirt to "brand" her?

Hot Dog
Sammy had a great time in Bakersfield with Lanette's daughter, Jenna. She happily watched Sammy all weekend long. Hooray!
This is Sammy and Jenna right before we left the cool A/C of the house and entered into the Africa sun.
Licking his lips
Just seeing what's going on
Must. Have. Water.
How exactly is this comfortable (for one) and/or part of the cool-down process (for two)?
Oh, hi
His final pose? Sticking his nose down the other side of the seat..
What's going on up here?
Happily crusing around...
Who, me? Hot? Nah...I was just playin'.... :)
