Pinky's Fandance - Annie Potts

You never know when a celebrity encounter is going to render you a complete and total moron. In my case, that time was today when I finally met the incomparable Annie Potts. As you might recall, Annie played Molly Ringwald's co-worker and good friend in my beloved Pretty in Pink. Annie's character was witty, biting, and comedy gold. I loved her and everything she said in the film...which is why when I met her apparently I thought quoting her lines to her would be a good idea. No, actually, my exact words were, "I can't quote you to you...that would be ridiculous..." But then what did I do? Yep, that's right, quoted her to her. Fail. Duh. Thankfully she still took the picture! ;)
