They Can't Be Serious

In today's they-can't-be-serious-with-this-news-report story, I received the following "Breaking News" email from E! Online yesterday:] Um, really? Is there anyone in the free world or beyond who didn't know that? Yeah, that's what I thought. In related news, I wish the car they drove away in after the ceremony was red with a heart cut out on the hood and it magically started floating away into the air while the guests sang along to, "We Belong Together." Wouldn't that be amazing?
