Movie Mayhem

It's been awhile since there were any films I was excited about seeing, but this weekend I wanted to see two. The first one I saw was Something Borrowed, which was a cute enough little rom-com starring Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin. My biggest complaint was that Kate's character seemed to have zero redeeming qualities and she just bugged me the whole film. Otherwise, it was fine, but I'm glad I didn't pay more than $5.50 to see it. The second one was Bridesmaids, which has been way over-hyped. Yeah, it had some funny parts, but overall I thought it was in dire need of a good edit. The scenes ran SO long and just were too much...Still, it had some nice eye candy and a fun cast - just not enough funny for the money.
