Dog Funnies

As an official dog owner for over a month now (how did that happen?), I can now truly appreciate dog comics.
As my Sammy is still struggling with the house training, I can relate to these funnies all too well.

Pinky's Fandance - Leeza Gibbons

I've been watching Leeza Gibbons on TV for as long as I can remember, so seeing her in person just felt like I was seeing an old friend.
Aside from the wind making our picture together a total disaster, our encounter was brief but pleasant. Leeza is just as friendly as you'd hope and I enjoyed meeting her.

Must. Press. On.

I realize I should just be grateful for a job, but my goodness it's tough. Like, beyond tough.
Dear Universe: Please being me something (read: anything) else before I jump in front of a train. Oops. Dramatic much?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Why is Katie wearing such high heels on the beach? It's ridiculous.
Thank you, Tori, for keeping your hands to your sides. Even if you are wearing a diaper.
You know, Tony Parker isn't necessarily bad looking, but if you look at Bradley Cooper and then back to Tony he looks like garbage.
I hardly recognized The Olsen without fifteen layers of clothes on.
Does Paz ever smile? Why is she always so pale? I don't understand her constant misery.

Golf Anyone?

I found this adorable little golf shirt for Sammy which he pretty much hated.
Too bad because it's SO cute!

Pinky's Fandance Redux - James Gandolfini

James Gandolfini may play a lot of tough guys on TV, but in person he's a total softie.
I first met James at Sundance a few years ago and he was amused by my extremely bright ensemble. When I asked him for a picture, he said, "Sweetheart, in that outfit, you can get whatever you want."
Last night I had the opportunity to see him again and he fell completely in love with Sammy.
When we took our first picture together, Sammy was asleep in his bag. Someone yelled out, "Be careful of the puppy, Pinky!" James immediately was interested in where the puppy was and asked if he could take it out of the bag. Um, sure!
He then went on to hold and snuggle Sammy all down the block - even taking him over to show his son. James was so sweet with my puppy. It was hilarious to watch "Tony Soprano" be so cute with Sammy.
Since he came back to hold Sammy a second time, I thought we'd better get another picture together. Love it! ;)

D-bags of the Day

Last night I had two less-than-stellar encounters with two seasoned celebs.
The first was Christopher Lloyd who is incredibly rude in person. Considering he's been around forever, I'd have hoped he'd have even an ounce of class.
Plus, since he always plays crazy people, one would think that in person he'd be nice. Sadly, no. Fail.
The second was Jeff Daniels, who completely surprised me. I always imagined he'd be super cool in person. Instead, when someone asks for a picture, he says, "No, but thank you for asking." Um, what?! How about just taking the freaking picture?! He's done this to me on several occasions now - each time I'm so shocked I can hardly speak.
I mean, come on. This is the guy who starred on Dumb and Dumber and famously took a big dump onscreen. One would think he'd realize he's not all that and a bag of chips. Fail times two.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Yes, Mischa, we're all incredibly sad that your pants don't seem to fit.
If Vanessa wore this to the set of Gossip Girl I fear she'd be laughed off stage.
How does one keep a straight face when posing with a....whatever that is?
Does she ice skate in her spare time?
That wink looks painful.

All About Sammy

And now for what might possibly be the cutest photo montage ever...I present Sammy Nicholas Rhodes...
