Training Day

As luck would have it, my new job required me to attend a training class today in my hometown. Not only did I get to eat lunch in one of my fave places, but I was able to stop and see my longtime friend Jenny on my way home.


Jenny and I first met while playing softball together in fourth grade, but really became good friends in junior high. Here she is with two of her three beautiful daughters (like mother, like daughters, right?).


Why did I think I could possibly hope to look even halfway decent next to her? Fail.
