Am I Crazy?

Anyone who knows me knows that I am NOT an animal person - I'm not even big on cats, despite my frequent LOL cat love. Still, I've been thinking about getting a dog for a long time. Call me crazy, but I thought it might be good for me. My friend Sharon advertised a free puppy needing a good home on FB the other night and before you could say, "Um, what now?" I was picking up my new dog. Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce my adorable half-Chihuahua/half-Pomeranian mix puppy, Sammy Rhodes My sister came with me to pick him up and it's a good thing she did because I had/have no idea what I'm doing. Seriously, I *may* be freaking out a little bit (even though he's possibly the cutest dog ever - and that says a lot coming from me). Here he is sleeping in the tiny basket on the ride home. Like his Hello Kitty chew toy? Wait until you see the pink doggie crate and pink collar. Don't judge me. Here I am with Sammy and Sharon - he already looks super thrilled to take pics. As a surprise to no one, I'm apparently going to be a look-at-this-new-picture-of-my-dog kind of owners, considering I was sending out pics of him before I even picked him up. Pathetic! BTW, I'm open to any advice/suggestions about training here, as I'm completely in the dark. Thanks!
