Yesterday tickets for the Duran Duran show at the Fillmore in San Francisco went on sale precisely at 10 a.m. Although I'd set my alarm and woke up specifically for this magical event, when I went online at 10 a.m., the tickets were sold out. Two minutes, completely sold out. Now I'm not a master at ticket purchasing, but that seemed rather quick to me. Lots of crazed Duranies out there, apparently.
My friend, a fellow Duranie, told me she was able to procure tickets from the DD fan club early. I'm now kicking myself for not spending the money long ago to join the official DD club. I thought I was in some fan club, but apparently it's the wrong one. Fail. On the plus side, they've announced another show in Pomona...let's hope I can get a ticket to that! Fingers crossed.
