Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Franco Takes Over The World

I took a picture of this billboard on Sunset for Heidi who loves James Franco like I love, well, all my boys - Trammell, Spade, well, you get the idea.

Coincidentally, James tweeted the exact same picture the same day I took mine. I wonder if we were driving and shooting pictures near each other?

An art show? What can't he do (besides host - oh, crap. Did I type that out loud? I think he was nervous....yeah, that must've been it). His resume includes actor, writer, artist, host...I wonder if he'll start valeting cars or waiting tables just to mix things up? All I know is this: James is VERY fan friendly and I appreciate it.

Pinky's Fandance - Chris Harrison

When I first saw Chris Harrison last night, he looked right at me after I asked for a picture and then kept on walking. I was shocked! It was the Most Dramatic Picture Blow Off In Bachelor History (OK, not really, but it sounded funny).

When he came back out of the party, he came right over and, as karma would have it, he slipped on the ground and I had to catch him. Sheesh, this guy is used to dramatic entrances, huh? In person I found him to be a lot more handsome than he appears on the show and he ended up being nice after all.

Congratulations Oscar Winners!!!

While much has been said online already about the Oscar show last night (zzzzzzzz....), I wanted to be sure to send out my sincere congratulations to the winners.

Despite being predictable, I thought they were also the most deserving, so I'm totally OK with the predictability.

The amazing Colin Firth - always so gracious and kind. SO excited he won Best Actor!!

What? Like I wasn't going to post both of my pics?

Melissa Leo was incredible in The Fighter. She's also one of the coolest around.

At the Spirit Awards, she did autographs and pics with so many people - love her. Congrats on Best Supporting Actress!

Christian Bale was enigmatic in The Fighter and was the hands down winner for Best Supporting Actor. His acceptance speech made me love him even more.

Tom Hooper won Best Director for The King's Speech. Nicely done.

This is Gareth Unwin who is holding the Oscar for Best Picture for The King's Speech. Cheers! Special note: No Natalie, only because she's extremely difficult to fans - never comes over for pics or autographs. She's notorious in the collector world for being mean. I haven't seen Black Swan, but I understand she was great, so congrats to her, as well.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to the Tuesday edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.

Oh. No. There are just some things you can't unsee. Love ya, James, but your outfit is giving me shingles.

This picture cracks me up. It's like a little bird drinking a sip of water.

Considering Scarlett never took her husband to things AND they're not even divorced yet, it seems in bad taste for her to have brought a date. But what do I know?

He couldn't have shaved his face because??? Way to look sloppy, JT.

Who knew Nic and Gwyn were such besties?!

Top Five Postsecrets of the Day

Stupid Wind

The wind not only froze us to our cores, but messed up some prime photo opportunities. Here are some examples of the windblown effect:

BAD WIND: Jason Ritter is one of my faves and of course we took a do-over (although, really, I must have at least 15 pictures with him now), but why did my hair have to blow right in my face?!? FAIL.

GOOD WIND: On the flip side, I kinda dig the windblown effect working here with Dale Dickey. It must've been good luck, as well, since Dale went on to win Best Supporting Actress for her role on Winter's Bone.

MEH WIND: I suppose this picture with the ridiculously good looking Trevor Donovan isn't a total fail, but it's trying to be. Special note: When Trevor came over, he hugged me. Also hugging me yesterday? Jason Ritter and Thomas Ian Nicholas. *swoon.* WIN.

MISLEADING WIND: For some reason, the wind here is making my hair look like a train wreck - super frizzy and out of control instead of whimsical. FAIL.

CELEBRITIES ALWAYS HAVE BETTER LUCK WIND: Hopefully Heidi will forgive me for using this as an example, but she made the funniest comment about it on FB. To quote Heidi herself, "Great, the wind has a beautiful super model effect on her and I look ROUGH. (Please note that's rough in all capitals)."

BEST ACTION SHOT WIND: You can't get more windy than this picture appears - even my scarf is trying to fly away.

Pinky's Fandance - Joe Manganiello

By far, my favorite new picture addition yesterday was Joe Manganiello. For those of you who don't know, Joe is one of the newest cast members on my beloved True Blood and I've been dying to meet him.

Why was I dying to meet him, you ask? Um, just look at him. Hello. That is one amazingly fine looking man. He was also really cool - especially considering I was having camera challenges and had to take several pictures. I think Heidi might even have a couple more than are listed here. Don't judge. :)

While it's unfortunate I ended up looking like an Eskimo to stay warm, I love that we're posing on the beach and he was so great to everyone around. I even got his autograph in this new little book I have - but we'll definitely be talking about that further later. For now, I invite you to enjoy the beauty that is Joe.

Independent Spirit Awards + Good Friends = Awesome

As you probably know, my super cute friend Heidi is my #1 partner in crime at Sundance. I hate having her so far away because she could be hitting all the hot spots with me in LA. Luckily, she and her mom won a trip to Disneyland, so she was here for the weekend.

It also just happens to be Oscar weekend and yesterday the Independent Spirit Awards were held down at the Santa Monica beach. Heidi and her mom came over for a fun day in the freezing cold sun (yes, you heard that right). This is how we looked at the beginning of the day - around 9:30 a.m. - when the worst thing about the weather was, surprisingly, not rain, only a whole lotta wind.

In addition to Heidi, I also saw some other cool peeps. My adorable friend Shaunie - one of my Sundance boys - volunteered at the show and made sure to come over and give me some love.

Also at the show? My new friend Lindsay who writes the blog called www.iamnotastalker.com. She and her husband, The Grim Cheaper, braved the frigid temperatures and came to see what was going on.

By the end of the day, our entire bodies were a HOT mess. The wind had blown sand in our hair, the sun had burned our faces, and the freezing cold temperature (which was comparable to Sundance, only we weren't exactly dressed for it) had frozen us to the very core. I'm fairly certain I may never be warm again. Still, it was a very fun day - an adventure, to say the least - and I loved having my fave partner in crime by my side. We even got all our faves (again): Jason Ritter, Ben Lyons, Mark Ruffalo, and James Franco. Score!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to Monday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.

Man, that's a gorgeous dress. I'm completely and totally in love with it.

Good wishes and karma being sent out to the wonderful James Franco as he co-hosts the Oscars tonight. He's going to knock them dead!

THIS is the big haircut we've been hearing about??? Um....that's not really so dramatic. What am I missing?

"Hey guys! We're just here with grandpa and the kids. Wait, what now? That's not the grandpa? That's the dad? Awkward...."

Oh, Miley, you're so classy. The pockets showing are a great touch.

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Colin Firth for President

OK, so maybe Colin Firth for President is a bit far fetched, but I'm definitely rooting for him to win the Oscar for Best Actor for his work on The King's Speech.

If the awards go according to my desire, I'll have additional pictures to share, but for now let's enjoy my brand new Colin Firth picture, shall we?

We can try to pretend I didn't shake so much trying to take the picture that his wife had to take over, but let's get real: That totally happened. Pull it together, Pink!
