Where The Day Takes You

In addition to finally meeting Dermot Mulroney, last night I had the opportunity to watch Where The Day Takes You, which is the best movie I'd never heard of. Initially I went with my friend Liz because we wanted to watch the Q&A with Dermot and it was cold outside, but we ended up just falling in love with the film.


I'm so glad we went! The movie is from 1991 and has this all-star cast of Dermot Mulroney, Lara Flynn Boyle, Sean Astin, Balthazar Getty, Will Smith, James LeGros, Ricki Lake, Kyle MacLachlan, Alyssa Milano, David Arquette, and Laura San Giacomo. It's about runaway kids in Hollywood and is just really well made. I loved the story, I loved the acting, and I loved the shots around the city. Great film! If you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it. Watch this film - seriously, I don't know why it's not better known.
