Eat Pray Love

I finally got around to seeing Eat Pray Love and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Don't get me wrong, I loved the book - which is exactly why I didn't think I'd like the movie. Of course, I'm still one of those "the book is better" people and I don't really think Julia was the best one for the role, but whatever. Not my decision. If you do rent it and are short on time, don't select the Director's Cut, as it's apparently neverending, but the scenery is nice. Overall, I think they took one too many deviations from the actual story, but what do I know? It's a movie. Meant to entertain. It'd probably be hard to fit all the serenity of the book into cinematic gold, right?
