Happy New Year!!!

The new year is upon us, so I wanted to be sure to wish each and every one of you a very Happy New Year!

Any resolutions? Here's wishing the new year brings forth new opportunities, new hope, and new life. Cheers!

Pinky's Fandance - Marilyn Manson

While I'm not terribly familiar with his music, you can't dispute that Marilyn Manson is an icon in his own way.

I was nervous to meet him, but he was surprisingly quite lovely. He was leaving a restaurant with some friends when we saw him, but he was nice enough to pose for a pic with me and my friend.

My New Favorite Product

We may or may not have discussed this before, but I've got some super dry feet. If my feet were a climate, they'd be a desert. I've tried everything - special stuff for horse hooves included - but nothing keeps them smooth, soft, and crack-free for very long.

Enter my new favorite product that's completely amazing despite its unattractive name- Palmer's Crack Butter. Seriously, it's a miracle product. I want to slather my feet in it. Now the only challenge is where to buy it, as I found it in a clearance bin at Big Lots the other day. Thank you, Palmer's - I can walk freely again!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to Sunday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.

How did Fergie get ahold of my leggings from high school?

How nice of Demi's teenage daughters to share their clothes with her.

Is that a really big ace bandage she's wearing as a dress?

Penelope Cruz looks so cute preggers. Why isn't she happier? The guy behind her certainly is.

Is Sandra wearing a blanket as a jacket?

Show and Tell

The other day I was watching my nieces and nephews find toy after toy to show off and demonstrate to Grandma and Grandpa when I noticed I was doing the same thing. Despite being grown up (I know, that's debatable), I still look for stuff to show my mom - it's as if I'm still a little five-year-old bringing home some artwork from school to be hung on the fridge. I wonder if we really ever grow out of it? Or do we spend the rest of our lives trying to please and impress our parents?
I doubt I'm ever going to grow out of it. If it hasn't happened yet, I'm probably doomed.

Pinky's Fandance - Toby Huss

If you were an avid Seinfeld watcher like me, you'll recognize Toby Huss as "The Wiz" - the guy with the magical smile who briefly dated Elaine. I ran into him at a show and instantly recognized him as Elaine's old boyfriend. Luckily he didn't hypnotize me with that smile of his and make me do his bidding. :)

Cutest. Video. Ever.

How stinking cute is Ava singing some Christmas tunes? This is my first attempt at uploading a video from my Bloggie camera. I hope it works!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Why are they all looking different places? Are there really that many people trying to photograph the long-ago-popular pop trio, Wilson Phillips? At least Carnie isn't hiding behind them anymore.
It seems to me that a member of Twilight and a Jonai wouldn't be able to walk five feet in Disneyland without being mobbed. How much fun could that even be?
There are so many things wrong with this picture it literally makes my eyes bleed. Egads.
Is she being strangled by that animal? Why does Salma Hayek look like she was rode hard and put away wet?

Camera Self Timer = WIN

As we don't get together nearly as often as I'd like, I thought it best to commemorate today's family gathering with a group photo. Since we were at Jay's house without a random passerby to take the photo, I thought we'd try out the self timer feature on my camera. Attempt #1: Not too shabby, but Mom and Mike were looking a bit blurry over there on the left. Attempt #2: Pretty good, but still rocking the blur on the side. Re-positioned the camera and tightened the shot. Attempt #3: Success! I'm having some trouble fixing the stuff I want to fix, so I turned the photo black and white until I can fiddle with it some more. Everyone looks great, though, and no blurry shots. Well done, self timer! WIN!

Pinky's Fandance - Rene Auberjouis & Howard Hessman

So, one night I was at the movie theater when lo and behold I saw Rene Auberjouis (from Star Trek fame) and Howard Hessman (from WKRP in Cinncinati). They were super cool cats. I wasn't sure if I could pull off the triple photo with my left-armed shot, so originally I was going to do them one at a time. Rene went first and made this silly face/pose like he's all shy. When it was Howard's turn, he looked at Rene and said, "Watch this, I'm going to do it just like you did" and shrugged his shoulders while making the same face. Even better? Rene photo bombed the picture in the back. LOVE it! :)

Family Time? Say Cheese!

It's been a really long and fun day spent with some of the fam - thought I'd share a few cute pics. My sister, brother, mom, and me in front of Jay's almost-tipping-over tree.
Just a few of the girls hanging out. Phoenix is so cute with Ava - I love watching them all play together. All five cousins together at lunch - I couldn't believe Spenser actually got in the shot (willingingly! And it was HIS idea!)Adorable Owen with his bright eyes and happy smile. Such a sweetheart. The kids at lunch.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Dear Jessica: No, it's not 1978. No, that headband does NOT look good. Yes, you need to change.
Dear Orly: Ride wherever you'd like, dear sir. I'd follow you anywhere. Dear Kevin: Your new logitech commercial is amazing. Please do more.
Dear LeAnn: I'm fairly certain your blazer should not be longer than your short short. I'm just saying. Dear Jennie Garth: Sometimes, I pretend your super cute family is the one you have with Dylan McKay. Is that wrong?
