A few weeks ago when I saw that Patrick Dempsey was going to be on a late night talk show, I'm pretty sure I squealed with delight. As we all know,
Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show, and Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey is a huge part of said show. Of course, I fell in love with him a million years ago when he starred in
Can't Buy Me Love (
who didn't?). Seeing him in person was going to be a dream come true.
When he first walked over, he asked who'd been there the longest. I said, "We had" as my section had been there since about three. He walked directly over to me, signed my picture of him I had in pink (!), thanked me for coming, and took this picture with me. Um, WTF? I was mortified that it was only my eye and his mouth. Why was my stupid camera zoomed in so much?!?!
Luckily, before he walked away I was able to grab another shot with him - one in which you can see both of our faces (
as well as his preppy sweater over his shirt - yum!). I'd actually heard that he's not super nice, so to be proven otherwise was awesome. Thank you, Patrick, for being just as McDreamy as I'd hoped. :)
