Nice Guy Johnny

If you enjoy Edward Burns (and, really, who doesn't?), good filmmaking, and characters you root for, I highly recommend "Nice Guy Johnny" (which can be rented or purchased on iTunes or On Demand). I'd been hearing about it for weeks from all these rave reviews on Twitter and couldn't wait to check it out. Actually, I did rent it on my iPhone, but when I heard about the screening on a big screen I jumped at the chance.

The film has amazing characters, a cute little love story, and some hysterical lines by Edward Burns playing the douchebag Uncle. I really, really enjoyed the film.

This is Kathy Bishe who plays the lead girl, Brooke, in the film. The best thing about the film is that Edward Burns is trying to help spread the word on a new distribution model that allows filmmakers to have more creative freedom and then bring their work directly to the consumer. He spent zero dollars on marketing this movie...and yet it's in the Top Ten on iTunes right now. How inspiring is that? Watch this film!
