Pinky's Fandance, Couples Edition (Rebecca Romjin & Jerry O'Connell)
At the premiere for Piranha 3D the other night, I was lucky enough to meet some of the NICE co-stars of the film (cough cough....obviously I'm not referring to Elisabitch Shue). Rebecca Romjin and Jerry O'Connell were both early (unlike other people - Elisabitch Shue - who couldn't be bothered to show up until one minute before it started. Way to leave time for your fans...) and happily milling about the lobby talking and being the rock stars that they are. As a special note, I was actually able to get both the pictures below while they were on their way to the red carpet - which, normally, would be a super hoy rush time. Despite being rushed, both were awesome about stopping and posing and, shockingly, not being rude about it or acting as though I'd asked them to donate a kidney. For the record, Rebecca wasn't even in the movie - so, really, she had no "implied obligation" to be nice or accomodating to fans. She was there to support her husband, Jerry, who starred in the film. But still, she was incredibly sweet. I love Rebecca and have for the longest time - meeting her in person only solidified my love affair with her. Thank you, Rebecca, for being cool and classy.
Likewise, Jerry (aka the "fat kid" in Stand by Me) was also really cool. He not only had to rock the red carpet and hold court until his co-star decided to grace the film with her appearance, but he also had double duty by guest starring on Jimmy Kimmel that night, as well. In both cases, he was awesome. I've enjoyed his recent work and will definitely tune in for any further gigs he has. Thank you, Jerry, for being a real star. It's too bad your co-star is such a tacky beyotch. Oops. Did I say that out loud? Crap.
