Friends Work

And now we return to the story of how I got here....or, rather, what made me stay. Of course, having my siblings and niece/nephew close-by didn't hurt at all; but some of the other great reasons to stay were the friends I made.

Rachelle (to the right) and "Mother Baked" were both friends I met at Lame Job - and I consider them to be the only good thing to come out of that job.Despite quitting Lame Job over five years ago, I still keep in contact with both.

One of my very first friends at OCT was Angie and we've been close ever since. She's my lunch buddy, emergency contact person, and my bobsey twin at work. :)

Lu Lu Bell and I sat near each other years ago and have been friends ever since.

Ruthie, Luan, and Mary Emma were all friends I made when I changed departments at work. Despite going back to my old department, we continue to have lunches and get together.Ruthie, as you know, is also part of our Cindy Ree's gang.

There are several other people I've met through work who are dear to my heart (my bowling team, for example, and others I've met throughout the years), and I'll miss them all. They've made my time here extra special and I can't imagine my life without them.
