Yesterday I went online to price an iPad (since apparently it was just released and everyone is talking about it) and found out that it runs for $499. What am I missing about this thing? It looks like a giant version of the iPhone. If you've already got an iPhone, why would you need an iPad? I can think of a ton of things I'd rather do with $499 (color my hair, get another tattoo, fly to Italy, paint my car pink, buy the Glee DVD, hire a cleaning crew to clean the Pink Palace, or even just buy a plethora of Hello Kitty items/snow globes/flamingos for my collections to name a few). Can someone please explain what the big deal is? iThank iYou (come on, that was iHilarious).

Am I Missing Something?
