This morning I woke up at the crack of dawn to go to McIke's baby blessing. It's a good thing I love McFamily because not many people could get me awake that early in the morning on a weekend! :) The blessing was very nice and the little brunch afterwards was fun - funeral potatoes and all.
After the brunch, I headed out for some shopping and found some cool things. Sadly, my favorite lipstick has been retired. The worst sight in the world is seeing your lipstick remnants in a clearance bin....It took everything out of me not to cry. Finding the perfect lipstick is not an easy feat, so when you finally find it, you want the love affair to last. Now I'll be forced to scour the internet to see if I can find some castaways. Sigh.
Luckily, the store also sold this awesome flamingo towel, so it was able to temporarily dry my tears. :)
