Things I Hate Friday

Hello and welcome to yet another edition of Things I Hate Friday. In no particular order, I present a list of the things chapping my hide today: 1) Freezing Holy hell, can it get any colder? Last night it went down to TWO degrees. Are you kidding me with this? I was not made to endure these sort of temperatures. My California Girl blood doesn't know what to do with this much cold. I hate it. On the way to work today the radio said it isn't even Winter yet. What? Are you sure? Have they looked outside? I'm pretty sure Winter's in full force.2) The new Target commercials Is it just me, or are the new Target commercials annoying as all get out? In case you haven't seen them, they all involve someone getting a gift, saying they don't deserve it for one reason or another, and then the gift giver saying, "It's OK. We didn't spend that much." What? How does this make someone feel better about getting a gift?!?! I don't get it. I think it's stupid. Bring on more Gap Holiday Cheer Ads. Destroy the Target ad and those hateful Old Navy mannequins. Death to those. 3) Work Why am I not independently wealthy? Why couldn't I just stay home and crochet all day? Perhaps I could become Crochet Master to the Stars and create a menagerie of hats, scarves, and blankets for the A-List celebs. Now that's the life for me.
