Pinky's Fandance, Woulda/Coulda/Shoulda Wednesday Edition
Once upon a time Pinky Lovejoy was working at her post the first night of the Festival (behind the Eccles theater at the shuttle stop in the freezing cold) when lo and behold, she saw a star. Not a shooting star, mind you, but the fairest of all stars, the lovely and talented Catherine Keener. While Pinky stood at the heater trying to warm herself up, Catherine walked by and said hi. Pinky, obviously star-struck, then called out to her, "Catherine, I think you're amazing!" (insert embarrassment at such fawning here). Catherine said, "Thank you" and went on her way. Now, while it's true that taking pictures while on shift is prohibited, sometimes one must make an exception. Also of note was the fact that Pinky was working with three other people (when normally stops are manned by only one or two people at most). For this reason, she easily could've quickly removed her uniform and name tag and gotten a picture with Catherine, but alas. She was too slow. She hoped upon hoped that Catherine would exit the theater the same way she entered, at which point Pinky would finally get her long desired picture; but, alas, it was not to be. To this day, Pinky hopes she will someday come into contact with Catherine again. The end.
