As many of you already know, I met The Ricker last year at a conference where he was speaking in Salt Lake City. Considering I've had a crush on him forever and a day (and true love lasts forever), I was worried that I wouldn't be able to speak when we met. Luckily, fate stepped in and allowed me a few sentences to utter without saying any of the embarrassing things I thought I'd say (like how I had his face on my birthday cake when I was 12 and ate his lips, for example). 
Ricky was everything I hoped for and more. We took the picture in color first, but I wasn't thrilled with it (since it's kind of blurry) and asked for one more. I told him I was going to use it for my Christmas card and he said I was sweet. Then he asked me if he started to sing the theme from Silver Spoons would I know the words? I said, "I've got it on my iPod!" I also made sure to wear the black rubber bracelets like he used to wear on the show - he totally loved that and even showed his wife (lucky b*tch). Overall, it was the perfect meeting with someone I've been crushing on since I was in elementary school. All hail The Ricker. :)
