A Few More Pics for the Road
Erin's family left yesterday morning to head back to Arizona. Last night Dad and I went to a yummy dinner and then to see New Moon (I know, I know, I caved - it was his pick). I somehow made it onto my plane this morning after a disastrous experience at LAX. Oh, well. It's over now. I'm back safe and sound. :)
Pinky's Fandance, Tuesday Edition
I love Drea de Matteo, especially now that I get to see her every week on Desperate Housewives. She's awesome. I ran into her on Main Street a few years ago while she was walking with her boyfriend Shooter Jennings. I don't really know much about him, so I only asked for her picture, but I talked to others who were super excited about seeing Shooter. To each his own, I guess. She was sweet.
Escape to Aliso Viejo
As mentioned earlier, some drama ensued a few days after Thanksgiving. I'm not going to dwell on it or talk about it anymore, but suffice it to say it really really sucked. Thank goodness for my dad and brother coming to my rescue. My dad let me use his car to escape to my brother Jay's new house in Aliso Viejo. I was so excited to see his new digs and see the family. We had so much fun - those kids crack me up. Between Owen reciting Star Wars stories and Ava being the little entertainer, we were laughing the whole time. Thanks for the great time! :)
Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition
Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Dear Joel McHale: Really? A yellow tie? Well, only you could pull that off. I'll allow it. Once.
Dear Zac Efron: Nicely done. You look very, very nice. Delicious, in fact.Dear Rihanna: Seriously? You couldn't possibly have thought this was a good idea. And what on earth is on your feet?Dear Jennifer Garner: Please invest in some glasses which don't accentuate your ears or make your eyes look like a big ol' bug. Dear Jenna Fischer: Um. When did a rat's nest hair do come back into style? Oh, wait. That's right. It never was.
Black Friday Is Not For Me
I'm just going to get this out of the way right now: I do NOT participate in Black Friday. Ever. I'm sure there are great deals, but there are also WAY too many people, so I always make sure to avoid it at all costs. Well, that is, except this year. I went up north to see my friend Nathan and wanted to share my favorite thing ever on the Central Coast, which is this amazing clam chowder at Splash Cafe. In order to bring it, I needed a cooler, so I thought I'd run into a Wal-mart really fast. What was I thinking? That was NOT a smart move. I thought I might pull my hair out or throw a tantrum on the floor. Luckily, I made it out relatively unscathed, $5 cooler in hand. Before I made it to Splash Cafe, I went to pick up my friend Little Chris to go with me. He was shopping at a Sears and the parking lot was worse than the Wal-mart. Luckily I just had to pick him up and then we made our way to lunch. From there I made it to San Jose and spent time with this adorable group of people. It was a good time. I'm glad I went (even though it ended up causing World War 3 the next day...but that's another story....).
Pinky's Fandance, Monday Edition
I ran into Frankie Faison on Main Street this year and had to get a quick picture with him. I love that my head is about the size of a little pea. Frankie just guest-starred on my favorite show, Grey's Anatomy, last week, so I was stoked to dig up the picture again.
Thanksgiving Pictures
So, my Thanksgiving break actually started off pretty well. On Thanksgiving morning we went to the beach and hung out which was awesome. The weather was perfect. Later that afternoon we had a big group for dinner and my dad BBQ'd a turkey which came out delicious. My cousin, Scotty, and my Aunt Diane and Uncle Elmer also joined us, which was nice. It was a big group, but we had this huge table to accomodate everyone. Aunt Diane made yummy pies and by the end of dinner, the kids were worn out.
Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition
Hello and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Seth Myers looks like he needs some help with his laundry. May I offer my services? I'll most likely turn your whites pink, but I'm still more than happy to help!
Katie - you might not look as cute as you could, but kudos on not bringing that lame husband of yours.Just call her Jenny from the Blech. Is it wrong that I love this picture because it reminds me of my beloved original Melrose Place? Of course, they're also on the new one, so I love that, too.One of these days, Ben, you will be mine. Just wait and see. Oh, yes; you will be MINE. :)
