Italy on my Mind

Lately I've had a ton of friends going to Italy on vacation, which is awesome for them, but a bit sad for me. Perhaps it's just the melancholy mood I've been in (or the fact that it was Filip's birthday recently), but I just miss everything there so much. Luckily I've been able to connect (via Facebook, of course) with a bunch of my friends in Firenze (that's Florence to you commoners - ha ha), and that's been awesome. But, as far as I know, Filip is still computer illiterate and thereby impossible to reach. Actually, we haven't been in contact for a long time. No reason why, I think that's just how life works when you live across the ocean from one another. I miss him. I miss Italy. I miss the new experiences and freedom and just general wonderment I found myself in every single day.
