Ladies Who Lunch

Today I had lunch with my friend Rachelle, who is one of the two best things I walked away from my previous Lame Job with (the other being my friend Marisol). Since we stopped working at Lame Job (which was probably like five

years ago), we try to meet up for lunch a few times a year - at least for birthdays and Christmas. This time had been a really long stretch between visits, so today she brought me a belated birthday present. Isn't it awesome? It's a glass flamingo. I love it! We had a nice time, but I think we definitely need to shoot for having lunches a lot more frequently. Over six months is way too long!
