An Open Letter to the FreeCreditReport.com Guy

Dear FreeCreditReport.com Guy,
I'm not sure if it's because your commercials have aired over 90,000 times since they began in 2007, or if I'm just lonely and easily swayed, but I must admit to having a bit of a crush. I love it when you sing those annoying little ditties that get in my head and I think you should come to my house and serenade me. My favorite part of every commercial is the end when you get a super sassy look on your face. I think I might love you a little bit. From what I've read, you're from Canada - would you like a Green Card marriage? I'd be more than happy to marry you and have lots of freecreditreport.com little babies.
I just wanted you to know that your future wife is waiting for you in Salt Lake City. I totally love your face.
Love,
Pinky Lovejoy (soon to be Pinky Lovejoy-FreeCreditReport.com)

Pinky's Fandance, Tuesday Edition

Sometimes having to go back and forth to SLC at night pays off. One evening during Sundance I was walking from a party to my car and ran into Johnny Galecki (from Roseanne) as he was leaving a building. I was really lucky to run into him because it was like one o'clock in the morning. I was stoked! TV Land plays Roseanne all night every night (or maybe it just seems that way?), so I've been totally overdosing on Roseanne lately. Johnny Galecki's character, David, was always super cute. It was fun to meet him.

New Artwork

My sister made me this awesome collage filled with all things Pink - all my 80's bands, fun sayings, and cool pics. I wish you could see all the amazing details, but it really is great. I'm excited to find a place to hang it in the Pink Palace - it'll fit right in! :)

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. I'm so confused by this outfit. Is Annalynne McCord wearing a bathing suit? A dress? A mixture? And why is there a charm between her boobs? Oh, Kelli. You're so pretty. Why is Mr. Douchebag trying to look like Aladdin? And why does Mrs. Douchebag look so small? I think he can carry her around in his pocket. Does that make her a pocket-sized douchebag?
Speaking of the Douchebag family, here we see Mrs. Douchebag's eldest daughter trying to dress herself up as anything other than Jay Leno in a dress. Nice try. Will someone please tell Renee Zellweger that Lindsay Lohan would like her leggings back?

Have Attitude. Will Travel.

There's some good news and bad news for my emotional state of late. The good news is that I *finally* caved and got myself on some anti-depressants (seriously, at this point I'll try anything which might help level me out). The bad news is that the number one side effect of these new meds is agitation/irritation (as if I needed any further help in those areas?). Suffice it to say that mixing my exhaustion with my current state of adjusting to the meds makes for one grumpy girl. Without going into too much detail, let's just say I'm glad I was with family this weekend because no one else could've tolerated my hijinx.

Pinky's Fandance, Monday Edition

Brad William Henke was the nicest guy. I ran into him on Main Street and he made time for a picture and a quick chat despite being in a hurry to do press for his movie, Choke. I loved him on October Road and was super excited to meet him. Such a sweetie! :)

Taking Woodstock

So, apparently I'm all messed up in my weekend recaps because the movie from Saturday night should've been before the brunch pic. Oh well. After the party we went and saw Taking Woodstock about the Woodstock music festival. It was a fun and interesting movie (plus, that's how the mystery of Kelli Garner was solved - hooray!). I'm still dying to see Inglorious Basterds, but it was the perfect movie to see for us. Afterwards we had dinner at Marie Callender's and then I fell asleep in my clothes on top of my purse. Yeah, I was a little tired.

Celebrity Wrap up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. I don't understand having a purse so large you can fit a small child into it. Isn't Miley Cyrus' purse bigger than her? At least she seems happy about it. Well, at least Matthew Mc-con-a-hottie did us a favor and cut off the sleeves of his shirt. Now let's just take it one step further and take it all off! Love his mini-me son. Too cute.
It looks like Kelly Clarkson is asking for forgiveness for her wretched behavior to us in June. Hmmm. We'll think about forgiving you. Someday. Is Katherine Heigl aware that she's got a small planet on the top of her head? Brad Pitt better check his closet, because his hats are being stolen left and right. Today's offender? Jake Gyllenhaal.

Pinky's Fandance, Sunday Edition

In honor John Krasinski becoming engaged to Emily Blunt, I thought it was the perfect time to discuss how our picture came to be. As a huge fan of The Office, I was stoked to see that John was coming to the Festival this year. In fact, getting a picture with him was my Festival Goal. I started to get nervous when there were no "John sightings" during the first few days, but I knew he'd be there somewhere. Luckily, I ran into someone who'd seen him go into a film I was attending, so I figured I could get him when he tried to sneak out during Q&A after the film. As luck would have it, I was right and he walked right out. Now, sadly, this was one of my less-than-graceful celebrity encounters. Not only was I not ready for him and completely tongue tied, but I had to fumble around in my purse for seemingly forever when I saw him to find my camera. Thankfully, he was incredibly nice and just waited until I found my camera. He was very unassuming and kind of just like you think he'd be (which is what I love). Hooray for nice celebs! :) Oh, and congrats John and Emily!

Brunch by the Bay

Before we all went our separate ways yesterday, we went to brunch at a cute little place by my dad's house. It was delightful and the view was even better. It was the perfect way to end the all-too-brief visit. My dad had to pick up his car in Vegas, so he drove there with me. It was helpful to have him drive to Vegas, so all I had to do was drive home. Hopefully we'll all be in the beautiful area again really soon. I can't wait!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to the belated edition of Sunday's Celebrity Wrap Up. Gwen Stefani is just the epitome of cool. That being said, her son is already giving the papparazzi the death stare. Too funny!
Wow, I didn't know Paula Abdul had it in her to look this normal and good. Perhaps leaving AI was the right move after all? My real reason for posting this picture is that, as we all know, my favorite celebrity baby is in the picture. Behold Shiloh Jolie-Pitt! Wielding a pink sword? Even better. Wait - is her mom in black? Shocking. Debbi Morgan is apparently a huge fan of Gone with the Wind, or sheets, and low-flow showers. Why is her hair so flat?Winsor Harmon is so bright and shiny. Does Elton John know he's been robbed?

May the Force Be With You

My sister, Erin, and I made our way to Owen's Star Wars party early Saturday morning. We hit traffic and couldn't find a costume for me, but luckily I didn't need one. Although we were a bit late, we still arrived in plenty of time to see all the action - yummy lunch, Jedi training, cake, presents, and the battle between the new Jedi masters and Darth Vader (played by my brother, Jay, and assisted by my sister as a Sith). Despite the heat being completely sweltering, it was great to spend time with family and get to see all the fun things happening. I can't believe how fast they're growing! Where does the time go? Here are some awesome pics.

Pinky's Fandance, Saturday Edition

Good news - this weekend a mystery was solved. I'd taken a picture with Kelli Garner at Sundance in January, but couldn't place where she was from or what her name was. I knew I recognized her, but didn't know why. I was certain she was in something, though. The only thing that threw me off was that she was so shocked that I asked her for a picture. She was like, "With me?" For a moment I doubted myself (especially when Hiba and Heidi didn't recognize her), but I trusted my instincts. Ever since then I've been waiting to see her on a movie, TV show, anything, so that I could see where she was from. So, the funniest part about the story was that I'd just been showing my Sundance pictures to my sister earlier in the day and asked if she recognized her. I explained my plight and said I was sure I'd see her eventually. When we went to a movie later, there she was. Finally! Mystery solved. Oh, and what did I recognize her from? Lars and the Real Girl (she played the real girlfriend). Of course!

The Drive Over

My drive to California on Friday was long, arduous, abysmal, and fraught with one problem after another. It began with my leaving late, hitting traffic right away (and then subsequently hitting more in both Las Vegas and LA), being doused in cherry juice, inhaling all the smoke from the fires, and being generally pissy by the time I finally got to my dad's house. On the way there, I stopped by my friend Katrina's house to see her and her adorable daughter. Katrina's been one of my best friends since we were in Junior High (in fact, she can tell you in detail about every relationship I've ever had....and that list is LONG, my friend) and we talk all the time. It was great to see her and Em. I can't believe how big Em's getting! So cute.I made it to Kat's around 8ish and then got to my dad's by 9:30 or 10. After a delicious dinner of stroganoff and good company (with my dad, sister, and brother-in-law), I was more than ready to hit the sack. Stupid long drive.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to the belated edition of Saturday's Celebrity Wrap Up. Jill Hennessey is very....shiny. Did she steal that outfit from some 70's soap opera? I'm not particularly sure what Michelle Stafford is wearing, but I think it used to be related to Big Bird.Did Sandra Bullock have some bizarre dream where she left the house naked and tried to put on the first thing she could find on the floor to cover up? What is that? I'm pretty sure she wasn't at a costume party....Did Jessica Stroup rip off some Roman Gladiator for her dress? Or is it made up of gold coins? Once again, I'm very concerned for Jenni Garth's (aka Kelly Taylor) offspring - especially the oldest one in glasses. Perhaps we should call Donna Martin for an emergency shopping session? She could do an entire make-over.
