Doctor Pinky
I'm currently reading not one, not two, but FOUR self-help books regarding letting go, breaking up, and moving on. Good for me, right? Yeah, they're certainly interesting to say the least. I'm still waiting for one more (the one Inge suggested), but in the meantime I've got my hands full. My fave book so far was written by the author of "He's Just Not That Into You" and he's so funny. I love his no-nonsense approach, especially to breakups. The book is called "It's Called a Breakup Because It's Broken" and I pretty much love it. I'd read it once before (when trying to get over Neverending Boyfriend), but I didn't relate to it quite as much as I do now. In fact, it's almost disconcerting how "on the nose" the book is about how I'm feeling, the way I'm acting, and what's going on in my head. I'd like to think my emotions are unique and special, but apparently it's just a run-of-the-mill broken heart. Darnit. I hate being like everyone else. Blurgh.
