The hardest part about my break-up seems to be my ipod. I've got it on random shuffle and it keeps coming up with the cheesiest songs on the world. I had to skip through like half of my offerings yesterday because all they did was annoy me. Who wants to hear peppy love songs? Blech. I did make a "break-up playlist" full of I-hate-men songs and it does help....except for those rare slow songs that feel like I'm being stabbed with a knife through my heart. I was on my walk yesterday when one came on and I almost buckled over to my knees. Nice. Why do I put crap like that on my break-up anthem mix? I need women power ballads, not schmaltzy crap. What was I thinking?
