My Mom and Mike finally made it back to Utah from Iowa (where they'd been waiting for their movers to arrive) and we were able to go out to my belated birthday dinner at Ruby River tonight. It was so hard to say good-bye - I hate thinking of them being so far away. It was nice having them so close, even if I didn't see them all
the time. I've never lived so far from my Mom before. Plus, now my Dad is moving in July, so I'll be the lone person left here! Ugh. Dinner was fun (and delicious) and it was nice to have a productive day, as I'd been out shopping earlier (spending the gift cards which were burning a hole in my pocket). Now I'm watching the finale of
Desperate Housewives, although I'm so lost I have no idea what's going on.
