The Voices In My Head Made Me Do It
So, yesterday I took a big step towards being a grown-up: I called and made an appointment for a counselor. Lately I've been noticing (OK, *maybe* a little longer than lately) that there are things I need to work out before I can be completely sane (well, completely might be a bit of a stretch) and especially before I can really be healthy in a relationship. Isn't it funny how every relationship shows you something new? I've learned so much from each one, but I think there are things I need to figure out inside and why I'm always sabotaging everything. Who knows? Maybe I'll hate my counselor. You never know (maybe she'll be the best thing since sliced bread). But I'm excited. It's a good move.

Way to go! My sister has needed to see a counsler for quite a while (like her whole life) and I finally got her to go two weeks ago and she loves it. She wishes that she would have done it a long time ago. So best wishes I hope that you love it too- keep us posted :)
This is brave! I'm proud of you. It's not easy to be honest with oneself sometimes and consider that we could use some help. I hope you have a great experience and the counselor has a positive impact on your life. Just so long as she doesn't want to dramatically change the Pinky we know and love. Just give us a happier, more self-enlightened version. Not a different version.
