Pinky's Fandance, Thursday Edition
I saw Marlee Matlin several times at the Festival a few years ago. By the second night I ran into her, she remarked, "You're always wearing pink!" When I showed her my badge (which says Pinky), she laughed and laughed. Of course I tried (tried being the operative word) to show her my American Sign Language skills (as it was my foreign language in college), but, alas, I'm afraid my attempt was pathetic to say the least. Perhaps I got points for trying?
