I Probably Have The Swine Flu

What an interesting situation going on with the swine flu breakout right now. How do you know that it's the swine flu and not just a yuchy cold/flu? So far nothing in the news I've watched explains the difference, so for all I know I could be walking around with an infestation of swine flu and my nose is going to turn into a snout before we know it (sorry, couldn't resist).
