How to be Hard to Get

I've never been very good at playing hard to get. I wish I was better at it. The few times I've actually tried it have been extremely successful and I can see how well it works. Unfortunately, I perpetually wear my heart on my sleeve and therefore can't really pull off the "hard to get" vibe. Darnit. Can anyone teach me? Perhaps there's a class? How can I be reprogrammed to be a mean girl? That would rule. :)
