Doing My Own Thing

Today I was chastised for caring too much what people think. Hmmm. While it's true I've been known to ask an opinion or two (or twelve) about the same thing, I don't think I'd call myself anyone who's a slave to what others think. I mean, I do value other opinions a great deal, but when it comes right down to it, it's my life and I'll make my decisions the best way I know how. Does that make sense? Granted, people can disagree with anything I decide and that's their right. But overall it's my life. Wow, I'm sounding defensive, huh? I apologize. It's been an interesting few days inside my head....too many thoughts trying to come out at once. :)
