Snow, Snow, Go Away

So, I'm fairly certain that my hatred for all things snow related is well known. Today, this hatred has increased. There I was, ready to write an homage to my beloved pink Ugg boots - the ones which are permanently attached to my feet and I may have to have them surgically removed; the boots I've not taken off since it started snowing; the boots which match only half my wardrobe (due to their bright pink color) and still, I wear them incessantly - when, alas, my boots failed me. As I walked out to my car after work today, tragedy struck and I fell on my butt. On my new jacket. On my new purse. Almost on my iPhone (heaven forbid!). Right in the parking lot for all to see. I came home and immediately got in the bath and soaked my sore, achy muscles and tried to clean off the dirt which covered me, but alas, there's no hope. While I'm sure I'll continue to wear my boots until they fall off my feet, my love affair has died. Now they're just another pair of shoes. :(
