Pinky's Fandance - Tuesday Edition
The strangest (and, who am I kidding, coolest) thing about Sundance is that everywhere you look (and in the most random of places) there could be some super famous person just minding their business. I find the most random sightings while sitting in a theater and waiting for a film. People who have nothing to do with anything will be there in the audience just wanting to see the movie (while all I want to do is see them). One of my first sightings was Kyle MacLachlan (from Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City, and Twin Peaks), who was sitting several rows behind me in a theater dressed extremely casually in a baseball cap and seemingly wanting to fit in with the crowd (which, of course, just made me want to expose him all the more). Once the movie was over, I walked up behind him and asked for a picture. He was very nice and had his agent take the picture for us. He just seemed very genuine and sincere and unaffected by all the fame. Those are my favorite kind of celebrities. OK, you're right - my favorite kind of celebrity is any one who will take a picture with me. :)
