Sometimes I'm not sure which Fandance story to share, so I wait for the universe
(did I really just say that?) to guide me. Today's top story? Matt Dillon was arrested for driving 106 mph in a 65 mph zone. Um, what?
He's already met me, what could he possibly be driving so fast to see? Even more interesting? His mug shot is HOT! In fact, it doesn't look too different from the picture I scored with him several years ago.
In case you didn't know, Matt Dillon is a Sundance junkie. I'd be hard-pressed to think of a Festival he hasn't attended - usually with a movie. While I'd seen him several times and taken pictures of him, it wasn't until 2004 (I think) when I declared it to be "Matt Dillon Day" and put all my energy into getting my picture with him.
I'm serious about my declared days, I tell ya. I wake up and say, "Happy Matt Dillon Day!" and all day long I continue to say it until the deed is complete. The actual story isn't all that exciting - he was sitting behind me and I pretty much just jumped in for a picture (as you can see, he's thrilled), but no matter. Matt Dillon Day was a success and he graced my Christmas card that year (along with a few other celebs). Now, if only we could get his speeding under control.
