Yesterday was a good day - and, surprisingly, one I spent offline all day long (miracle of all miracles). I woke up early (well, before 11, which is amazing on a Sunday) and decided to run my last minute shopping errands. Here's a tip - when shopping in Utah on the last weekend before Christmas, try to go to a predominantly "Mo" (read: Mormon) town where everyone is in church. No crowds at all! :) I went to Bountiful and sailed through all the stores. Score! I started off at Victoria's Secret because I wanted to redeem my "secret giveaway card" I received last month. Actually, I had two of them. They were cards that you could bring back from December 1-24 and it would either be $10, $50, $100, or $500. Well, one of my cards was $10 (of course, since I'm sure most of them were), but my other card was worth $100!!! Wahoo! So, I ended up getting eight bottles of lotion, three lipsticks, and a gorgeous new pink luggage bag (which I decided would be my Christmas present to myself) for $26! Can you believe it? Behold the glory of the bag (originally $118, marked half off and then FREE with my $100 off).
I then headed to Target where I saw some fun items I couldn't help but take pictures of to share.

This is a
Grease DVD with a Pink Ladies jacket on the outside! How great is that? Too bad I already own it on DVD....sigh...

I'm not going to lie to you...I totally wanted to get this (hey, anything to help, right?). Alas, it was for teenagers and while emotionally I'm still 14, I thought it best to forego the teeny bopper book.

Now, I don't even use the grown up kitchen I have. Why would I be tempted to get the Hello Kitty play kitchen? It doesn't even make sense.

My big splurge was this gorgeous pink rug....perfect to compliment my new couch. Oh, and behold a panic breaks out, I wanted to let you all know that the couch has been adequately "pinked up."
