What does the ex in ex-boyfriend stand for, you ask? Let's try exhausting, exasperating, extra annoying, and expressly vile. Why do I let them affect me so? This morning I awoke to a text from my neverending boyfriend (who would also fall into the ex-boyfriend category, as he's probably my #1 ex-boyfriend, since we've broken up at least 1,000 times in twenty years). I was a little leery to open said text, as it was 6:15 a.m. and I was afraid it would contain some not-suitable-for-children type of photo (not that I ever get those types of texts...oh, who am I kidding? Nevermind). Imagine my surprise to see it was a lovely picture of him smiling in front of the ocean (he's on vacation in Mexico right now) with the text, "Wish you were here." Blurgh. He has to know that'll set me off like nothing else. Freaking TLF. Exhausting, exasperating, extremely ridiculous man that he is.
