Foiled Plans

Well, so much for my relaxing Friday night. Just as I was getting off work I got a text from my good friend Jamie asking if I wanted to grab some dinner. As I haven't seen him since our big adventure a few months ago, I happily obliged (thinking it was just dinner and then I could be home for my previously planned night of doing nothing). Alas, it was not to be. Flash forward to a few hours later and I'm just getting home from shopping, dinner, and hanging out a local gay bar where he took first place in a darts contest (and I was the proud recipient of the flowers he won). Now, watching that was fun (as he was a total long shot and the dark horse of the contest). However, watching the trainwreck of the tranny trying to pretend she was a real woman? Not so fun. It was such a weird crowd....I kept thinking it must be where trannys go to die. Jamie's friend was *supposed* to meet him there by 8 or 9 and then I'd be relieved of my fruit fly duties, but by the time she finally got there I was practically running out the door. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty fun and I always like seeing Jamie, but I was just in the mood for a relaxing night in the Pink Palace. The saving grace? Well, aside from going to Happy Sumo for dinner, which always makes me happy....check out this cute Hello Kitty necklace! I made Jamie hold it up at dinner. Isn't it ridiculously cute?
