Finally, I saw Blader in the park yesterday and he mentioned how he'd just lost a bunch of money in the stock market crash. Needless to say, he was not a happy camper (quite dour, actually). All I could think was that apparently I'm lucky I've never had any money to invest anything signficant in stocks (not like I would, as I don't understand those at all).

Random Thoughts on the World
I'm having a hard time concentrating today. I've had this neverending bloody nose (perhaps caused by the fights I'm evidently having in my sleep??) and it seems to be draining me of my ability to think (or stay awake, for that matter). However, there are things to talk about. First of all, can the elections just hurry up and get here? I'm so sick of hearing about that Alaskan Governor (who I'm not even going to mention, as I'm so tired of hearing her name). I've really had it with politics in general. New topic, please.Next, I'm getting sick of all the same celebs being featured everywhere. I'm over it. And, let me tell you, if *I'm* sick of it, there's something wrong. I just don't care. There are so many contrived poses and publicity stunts - it drives me crazy. The worst offenders I won't even name, but with the launch of the upcoming new season of Dancing with the Stars, stupid Kim Kardashian is everywhere. All I think when I see her is that she wouldn't take a picture with me at Sundance last year. B*tch! Who does she think she is?!?! I didn't really even want it, she just happened to be there and I thought, "Eh, why not?" But when she spurned my photo opp because she was, "Too busy" (her words) I wanted to throw things at her. Now her stupid face is plastered all over. I hope she falls when she dances. Perhaps she can faint like Marie, or break a toe in her stiletto heels. Oops, did I say that out loud?
And, that, my friend, concludes my random and pointless thoughts of the day. You're excused. :)
