Olympics Chatter? No Thanks, I'll Pass

While I'm in an infinitely better mood today than I was yesterday, I still can't help be annoyed by all the Olympics chatter. Don't people have anything else to talk about? Blather blather blather...Olympics...records....I'm fairly certain my eyes roll to the back of my head and I enter into some self-imposed coma when I hear any of those things. I know, I know, I should be more supportive, but why do I need a recap every single day? It's bad enough that it's interrupting my TV watching (oops, did I say that out loud?), but to have to listen to the daily play-by-play of something I didn't feel inclined to watch to begin with is just ridiculous. Our entire morning meeting is spent with people talking about it. And Time Warp Girl is such a know-it-all (btw, you should see her ponytail today, you'd die), I want to knock that smug smirk off her face. I'm sorry. That wasn't nice. Normally I'm such a lovely, happy person (ha!). I can't imagine what came over me. Oh, that's right - I blame the Olympics chatter.
