I'm a Superhero Underneath

After I met with McFamily last night, I made my way over to Lane Bryant. Normally I rebel on having to go to the "big girl's store," but I had a coupon and sometimes I can find fun stuff on their sales rack. The reason I rebel is that I hate how they overcharge big girls - I mean, does the extra fabric really cost that much more? I think not.
So, I ended up finding a super cute dress (as evidenced by the picture above) that I'm completely in love with right now. I also needed to get new bras, since I think we discussed the silly wires popping out of my old ones. Can I just say how much I hate buying bras?? I realize it's necessary, but much like grocery shopping, I view it as a necessary evil. I hate wasting money on stupid, overpriced bras that I can't stand wearing in the first place. But, as I mentioned, I had a coupon. :) I can justify stupid bras if I've got a coupon. Plus, I've got enormous ta-ta's that need to be reigned in while in public (oops, did I just say that out loud? Crap. Sorry Mom. Sorry Dad).
Here's why I bring up the new bras. Today I'm wearing my new black bra and, coincidentally, some black panties (or "choners" as we call them in Cali). Well, when I went to see how the bra looked in the mirror, I noticed I was rather matchy-matchy. Now, I'm not one of those girls. If I've ever matched before, it was completely by accident. However, I must admit - it feels kind of hot stuff. I'm walking around like I've got this secret under my cute dress - as though I'm wearing underoos (weren't those the GREATEST THING ON EARTH?!?! Oh, we were big fans growing up) and I can fight crime. Perhaps that's all superheroes do to begin with - match their undergarments? All I know is that I'm walking around singing, "I Feel Pretty" in my head - and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
