Happy Hump Day

Good morning and welcome to your Wednesday/ Hump Day. Or, for what most people in Utah are considering today, Friday. You see, tomorrow is a State Holiday. That's right. For those readers who live anywhere other than The Promised Land, July 24th is Pioneer Day. Yee-haw, kiss your grandma! So, it's a weird week - work three days, have a day off, and then work Friday. Most sane and rational people just took Friday off, but alas, I didn't. I'll be here trudging away, since I try to save my vacation time for Sundance, plus I'm taking next Friday off for my trip to Cali. But I digress. Last night I went to eat at Cindy Ree's again with with McP. (OK, I suppose her escort McBrian had to come along as well). :) Cindy Ree's is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. It's so tasty and delish. Check out my yummy chicken. Scrumptious, right? Tonight and tomorrow there are a plethora of activities around the valley to commemorate the blessed event of Pioneer Day. The aviary at Liberty Park is even having a FREE day, so I might go visit the flamingos in person. I owe it to myself and them to see them up close and personal. Of course I'll take some pics.
