Adventure Girl Takes A Hike
After work today, instead of my normal walk at the park, I went hiking up Little Cottonwood Canyon with R. What a beautiful day!I'm pretty sure it was Little Cottonwood Canyon, maybe it was Big Cottonwood Canyon? Either way, it was gorgeous (and also the first time I'd ever been there, which is sad considering I've lived here for almost seven years. I've also never been to Zion's or Moab, in case you were wondering). This hiking thing might actually catch on. I was a big fan, especially with R as a great hiking partner (aside from trying to scare me with the threats of snakes and spiders).
We took the hike at a nice, leisurely pace (I am an amateur, after all), all the while stopping to take pictures, avoid mountain bikers, and have interesting conversations. It was a really fun day, capped off with a very nice dinner at Shmolive Garden (yes, I had my usual). I could get used to this outdoorsy stuff. Up next? Possibly kayaking! :)

What a beautiful place! Looks like you had some fun. It must have been nice to spice up your afternoon walk.
Oh nature.
Very impressive Sheaner, very impressive. R. looks very cute. Maybe you could change up a couple of your weekly walks for hikes? You could also hike up City Creek Canyon. It is close to your house and beautiful and cool in the evenings, plus it is paved. We were just up there last week.
