Then, we were off to our first movie. Sadly, it was pretty much the worst thing I've ever seen in my whole life, so it wasn't the best way to start the adventure. Oh well. In between films, we were grabbing a bite to eat in the food court and I ran into Todd Glass, a comedian who was on Last Comic Standing. I'd actually booked us tickets for his show at 10:30 and had really wanted to meet him, so I was stoked to see him milling about the food court. Our second movie, Deficit, was written and produced by Gael Garcia Bernal, who also starred in it. I LOVE him, but he was unable to attend the festival, which was a bummer. I would've loved to meet him. The movie was pretty good though, MUCH better than the first one. As we were heading out to find the comedy club, we ran into Morgan Spurlock (from the movie Supersize Me), who was a jury member at the festival. He's always such a nice guy.
Once inside the comedy club, right before the show started, I spotted Jared Leto sitting in the back. Now, I've wanted a picture with him forever, so I was so excited to see him (as an embarrassing side note, when I got a picture with Stuart Townsend this year, I actually thought he was Jared Leto up until the picture was over. We took the pic and I said, "I'm so excited because I really wanted to get a picture with you last year" and he said, "I've never been to the festival before." Um. Crap. That's when I realized he wasn't Jared Leto at all, but rather Charlize Theron's boyfriend, Stuart. Oops). My sister has always had a major crush on him and says she's going to put our picture next to her bed. The show was really funny, but by the time it was over we were exhausted. We got back to the hotel around one and just crashed out. How do people stay up all hours in Vegas? I'm just not that young anymore, I guess.
Sunday morning we headed over to Planet Hollywood for a Father's Day Brunch before our special screening of Get Smart. As I was waiting for The Rock to walk the red carpet, I saw Eddie Griffin chilling out in a bar.

You have such good movie star karma, you always see so many stars. Sounded like a fun trip.
