Girls Gone Wild

Once upon a time, about a million years ago, I went to BYU (stop laughing). While I suppose my academic career was a bust overall, the one thing I did take away from the experience was a handful of lifelong friends. This weekend we decided to get together for a "Girl's Weekend" in Park City to celebrate our turning 100 - oops, I mean 35. We had so much fun! I can't believe how lucky I am to know these girls and still have them in my life. The only one missing is Ginny, who lives back east, but of course she was missed (as always). Sadly, due to my excitement over Ricky Schroder Day, I went to bed a tad bit earlier than the 3 a.m. the rest of them did (OK, A LOT earlier), but come on, I was tired! It was still really fun to be able to relax together in our room, or at dinner, or in the car on the way back, and just talk like not a day's gone by since we were hanging out in DT. We definitely need to make it an annual trip (and maybe pack a few less snacks!). I'm already looking forward to our next adventure together.

  1. Darn Ricky Schroder Day! Why did it have to be the same exact day as Girl's Weekend? I felt deprived of several hours of hilarious conversation when you fell asleep. And hey, YOU may be 35, but I'm still 34!

  2. Every party has it's pooper, that's why we invited you! Ha! I just have to get back at you because I think I am usually the official party pooper. We had a great time despite your pita burger and early bedtime. Next time you need to stay up with us and play Mormon bridge. It was such fun!
